Women’s Programs-Under this program, we have two programs:

Refugee Elderly Women’s Outreach Program “REWOP” to address comprehensive, coordinated, and supportive services to low-income female refugees 60+ years residing in DeKalb/Gwinnett counties of Georgia. The primary objectives include identifying and linking the target group with existing services. We would do so by providing them with information/referral/follow-up services, interpretation, outreach, health, recruiting and utilizing mentor volunteers, nutrition education, alongside a case management approach. Our goals entail: enabling the target group to strive for and maintain physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As well as avoiding institutionalization, and live independently with health, honor, and dignity while allowing them to remain where they are comfortable and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Dream Big Program

Our goal focuses on the improvement of essential services for refugee women, training in job skills, and leadership through Community Health Promoters/Workers (CHWs) program funding provided by the Office of Refugee Resettlement-An Office of the Administration for Children & Families. The Dream Big Program gives refugee women a tremendous opportunity for sustainable economic empowerment to break the cycle of poverty and build a better life.
